Ashtanga vinyasa yoga is derived from Patanjali's eight limbed path of awakening. A dynamic and vigorous practice, the ashtanga primary series provides yoga chikitsa (yoga therapy) by which the body is both cleansed and strengthened. Learn the ashtanga vinyasa yoga sequence, and explore techniques to regulate the breath, focus the mind and harness energy. This workshop is best suited for students with an established practice, props and modifications will be provided.
